Australian Eastern Osprey – (Pandion cristatus), Shot handheld from boat in the Clarence River Yaegl Country NSW Australia. I was really privileged to spend about six weeks on and off with this particular juvenile bird which started with regular contact with one of the parent birds giving it daily lessons on how to catch it’s own fish and finished with the juvenile being forced out of the parent birds territory once the fledgling could fend for itself.
